Richard is a dedicated lawyer with a focus in real estate transactions, corporate commercial transactions, and immigration law. He brings a wealth of experience to his practice, having successfully managed and completed hundreds of files. Whether it's reviewing contracts, preparing documents, applying for judicial review, or negotiating closing terms, Richard can help his clients resolve both the legal and business issues that arise during these processes.

After completing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Richard earned his law degree from the University of Victoria Faculty of Law in 2022. Prior to law school, he worked for an engineering consulting firm doing piping stress analysis. His background in engineering instilled in him a strong foundation for problem-solving and a disciplined work ethic.
Growing up in a Chinese Canadian family, living in Montreal for 5 years, and completing an international internship in Southeast Asia exposed Richard to multiple cultures. He understands that the law and businesses do not exist in a vacuum and that navigating them successfully requires a good understanding of the relevant cultural context. Fluent in English and Mandarin, with a consersational level of French, Richard is committed to providing excellent service to clients from diverse backgrounds.
Outside of work, Richard enjoys refining his skills in calisthenics, archery, and snowboarding.
