Bryan brings over 25 years of executive leadership experience across private and public sectors. As COO of Jade Sunrise Law, he drives operational excellence, strengthens organizational systems, and supports the firm’s growth as a modern, high-performing professional services organization.​​

Richard is a dedicated lawyer with a focus in real estate transactions, corporate commercial transactions, and immigration law. He brings a wealth of experience to his practice, having successfully managed and completed hundreds of files.

Larry completed his undergraduate studies at Peking University, majoring in law, and obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree. He pursued his postgraduate studies at the University of Toronto in Canada, where he earned a Master of Laws degree. Larry holds a professional lawyer qualification certificate for mainland China and has practiced as a lawyer in China for several years. ​​​​​

Chad is an Administration Officer at Jade Sunrise Law, managing daily office operations and providing high-quality organizational support to the legal team and clients.
He brings a diverse professional background encompassing immigration case management, assessment at the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), and corporate administration for a publicly listed company. Chad holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Shanghainese, he is dedicated to delivering efficient, detail-oriented service to the firm.

Yang graduated from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law in 2015. Yang practiced as a civil litigator in Alberta as well as a corporate in-house counsel in Ontario.

Adam recently graduated from the University of Alberta’s combined Juris Doctor / Master of Business Administration (JD/MBA) program. During his first year of law school, Adam and his partner took first place in the Faculty of Law’s internal moot court competition, which encompassed every student of his incoming year.

William Shi is a Legal Assistant at Jade Sunrise Law, supporting lawyers in managing client matters and ensuring files progress efficiently. He works closely with clients on follow-ups, coordination, and day-to-day communication.

William joined the firm in October 2023 and has been working full-time since May 2025. He graduated from SAIT’s Legal Assistant program in 2025. Fluent in Mandarin and English.

Ling Ma is an experienced cross-border dispute resolution expert with over a decade of practice, specializing in commercial and civil litigation, with particular strength in corporate equity, and contract disputes. Licensed in Saskatchewan, and Alberta, she holds law degrees from Jilin University and the University of Saskatchewan.  

Annie is an internationally trained lawyer with 15 years of legal practice experience in Hong Kong and Canada. She focuses on commercial litigation, regulatory compliance, investigations, employment and family law. Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, Annie brings strong analytical skills and a valuable global perspective to our team.

Mei Nong is the Bilingual Intake Coordinator at Jade Sunrise Law, with more than 15 years of client service experience across the government, financial, and education sectors. She is skilled at understanding client needs, gathering relevant information, and explaining processes in a clear and approachable manner.

Fluent in Mandarin and English, with conversational Cantonese and French, Mei is committed to helping clients feel welcomed, understood, and supported from their first contact with the firm.
