Mei Nong is the Bilingual Intake Coordinator at Jade Sunrise Law and is often one of the first points of contact for individuals seeking assistance from the firm. Fluent in Mandarin and English, with conversational knowledge of Cantonese and French, Mei brings more than 15 years of client service experience across the government, financial, and education sectors.
Before joining Jade Sunrise Law, Mei worked with the City of Calgary’s Calgary Transit Access, the Canada Revenue Agency, and ATB Financial. Through these roles, she developed extensive experience assisting individuals in complex, sensitive, and high-pressure situations with patience, discretion, and professionalism.
Mei is skilled at listening carefully, gathering relevant information, identifying client needs, and explaining administrative policies and processes in clear and accessible language. Her calm and thoughtful approach helps prospective clients feel heard, respected, and supported from their first interaction with the firm.
In addition to her professional work, Mei is actively involved in the community. She serves as a Director of Now Youth and Chair of the Rocky Sunshine Club, supporting newcomer families and members of Calgary’s Chinese community with employment, language, and educational resources.
At Jade Sunrise Law, Mei is committed to providing a welcoming and respectful client experience, particularly for individuals who prefer to communicate in Mandarin.
